Were there with a small moped group. Very nicely located and lovingly furnished. The food was delicious and the hospitality refreshingly friendly. The special thing is the ambience, wonderfully maritime and rustic. Whether a trip or a lunch break, everyone is welcome here. Reservation may be recommended.
It was a very nice stay very cozy and hospitable The food was very good, we would love to come back and hope that your situation will get better We wish you a lot of strength and, above all, health
Good atmosphere. Price / performance in order. Highly recommended for a spontaneous relaxed dinner.
Just beautiful The food was very tasty
Great flair. Quaint and cozy pub. The food was delicious and fresh. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately not. The salmon was roasted to death, the black hayloft potatoes and sauces cold. Some withered leaves in the salad. It's a shame, hasn't been there for a long time. Always been very good.
The food really good. International menu / dishes everyone can find something here. Quaint decor, friendly staff and reasonable prices. You have to eat here once
The flop of the year. There was a registration for the Friday of the Sail, which was actually planned for 2020. As requested, registration took place stating the special occasion. The evening for six was an absolute failure for everyone. The distance regulations in the bar were ignored. The service was unfriendly and not attentive. The first drink came quickly, which was pleasant in the high temperatures. We then waited about 40 minutes for the second drink. The food was beyond good and bad. The fish was swimming in the oil and had been in the pan far too long. The meat dishes ordered drowned in sauce. After all, we already had expensive dishes from the menu. a. 4 x Rickmers Llyod plates and councilor's pot. A complaint during the meal would only have been possible through a walk to the counter or the kitchen. The operation was not available. In response to the negative criticism after the meal, the waitress only replied: "You are probably right, but you don't have to tell me." There was no other reaction. Finally, the note that the restaurant was not fully occupied, only in the club room there was still a closed party. The special occasion that was requested when making the reservation was not taken into account at all. Very unfortunate that such a touted restaurant presents itself in this way. It is only to be hoped for further guests that this is an exceptional case.
The fish tasted good, the sauce with the potatoes was unfortunately a bit careless, probably packaged goods. The 30 ct surcharge for exchanging boiled potatoes for fried potatoes seemed a bit silly to us, since we would have liked an exchange at no extra charge for dishes that cost more than 20 euros per portion. You can do that elsewhere too. All in all, there is still room for improvement in the ratio of quality to price.
A long time ago I saw a documentary about Bremerhaven and Cuxhaven on television. Among other things, the "Last Bar Before New York" was presented. There was really something going on there and the atmosphere and what goes with it. I was there a few days ago and I have to join one of the previous speakers here. Perhaps the store has indeed had its prime and lives from the image of the past. The ambience is quaint, cozy and also suitable for the area. Nevertheless, I did not feel at ease. Perhaps that was due to the absolutely sober and matter-of-fact service. Someone who just does their job is out of place in such a location! I didn't study the menu that much, but what struck me is that inexpensive looks different. There was also a separate menu on which, for example, the usual daily meals etc. are not listed, but, as it turned out, the items are listed that are currently not available due to Corona. So you have to handle both cards here! Well, sponge over it. It's not really worth going there and on the next visit to Bremerhaven that will come, the last pub doesn't have to be visited again.
Unfortunately, very disappointing. Half of our food was bad; lukewarm spaghetti and shrimp fried too short. The vegetable casserole was quickly prepared with frozen vegetables ... There would be no reaction to our criticism ... It's a shame, but unfortunately it wasn't a nice evening from this point of view ... waited a good half hour for a beer ... apparently the restaurant is developing into a tourist rip-off location
Great nordic by nature ambience. Friendly and competent staff. Times cpl. Not the restaurant as always. Recommendation should be made. It opens from 6 p.m. However, if you expect an upscale fish kitchen with frills, you are not quite right. The ambience is more important here
Hello! The shop may have seen better days, not recommended today. You probably live by the name and the aura of the unusual. The service staff (Eastern European?) Already had problems finding our reservation on the guest list and were not very professional towards the guest. In addition to the menu, there was another two-sided card that said everything that is not there (reason Corona; not understandable, since there was fish fried, but the same was not steamed). So we played memory; first see what one might like, then see whether it exists and continue searching if necessary. The bouillabaisse was delicious, the crab soup, on the other hand, tasted like nothing, despite the complaint no goodwill, had to be paid for. Sauces were served with the fish dishes, one hollandaise sauce (came cold), another that tasted like hollandaise sauce in which curry ketchup was stirred (came lukewarm), potatoes seemed to have been convenience. All in all OK, but nothing to recommend. When paying by card, I entered the PIN and the receipt came out. Everything OK, I thought. The waitress asked me to also sign this receipt on the front and back. When I pointed out that this was not necessary, since I had successfully entered the PIN, I was pampered with the words "You still have to sign on both sides of the receipt, we want it this way!" thank you for the conversation. Very charming lady. We (as tourists) obviously fell into this tourist trap and consoled ourselves with the fact that fortunately we never have to go back here.
Salad wasn't good. Everything just finished from the bulk pack and too sour. The side salad wasn't fresh either and was already slightly dry. The fish and calamris were good and the portion was good. Otherwise great ambience.
Boiled potatoes as warmed up complained about ... next bowl as well .... according to the service we should have said that we want fried potatoes ... fish "seared" meat dish with sauce served together in "a" bowl with frozen vegetables and sauce Hollondaise !! !! Overall we were disappointed as the food was not hot either, the positive reviews regarding the food cannot understand. Positive: A rest of the restaurant ....
Time stopped here 20 years ago. Everything old, ugly, neglected, old boards. Dirt in front of the building, no nice grass. No terrace. Weeds only. I don't know what people are getting excited about here. If Magda Gesler came here, she would burn this shack. I recommend the owner to go to Gdynia to see what such a place should look like .... Overall the place has potential and needs renovation.
Classic and authentic place, memories of far-reaching glory combined with very solid Nord German dishes. Delicious eaten!
Top
Mega!!!
Service was okay and food was just average. Music was way too loud and you wouldn’t be able to hear a word when a person next to you talk to you. Not really a place to go if you want to have a conversation. But it’s more of a place if you want to drink, laugh and have fun.
This place is awesome!!! Very yummy
Cushty staff
This is a very special place with exellent food, one of a kind!
Quaint restaurant with delicious food Near Bremerhaven's Crusader Terminal, this restaurant is located in the middle of the commercial area. It is furnished maritime with all sorts of nonsense from the seafaring. Here you get for his money large portions with great taste. Fresh fish in many variations but also a rich meat selection can be found on the menu. Without pre-order you run the risk of not getting a seat.
Nice place in Bremerhaven
Excellent!!!!
Quaint restaurant in the cargo port. For ordinary people who want to eat delicious, very suitable. Definitely book a table. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed to go. The orders take a little time, but it's well worth the wait. The food was great.
Nice restaurant in the port of Bremerhaven with a nautical theme.
Simple but good quality German food
Very nice and cosy atmosphere and great food 😊👍
Charming old fashioned navy decoration Tipycal and varied West German dishes.
Fresh and delicious fish
Absolutely great this place! Definitely worth a visit! The presentation with all these souvenirs collected over the decades that is already very impressive and invites to nostalgic lingering! The food as well as the drinks absolutely robust and Nordic in the focus ajar simply class! The service is super friendly and we'll be back! Furthermore, the environment is something completely different!
I work there
Ok
No gut
Good food .. nice naval decorations environment
Did enjoy good food!
Its a good place
Ok
Great portions. Good food. Decor on the inside fits the restaurant perfectly.
Interesting tavern in Bremerhaven port area. I can't say to much about food, I ate only one, traditional called Labskaus (so called original german seaman dish), strange but tasty, BUT the bismarck herring (part of this dish) was absolutely genious, not like from the jars from the stores. However they have wide choice of dishes, both with meat (pork, beef) and fishes/seafood. Beer Haake Beck decent, thats regular softer pilsner. Nice, atmospheric interior decor.
Very good . U can expected more but its very comfortable place. I can recommend this for U 😉
This is a great place for good food and a great atmosphere! Super friendly and good service. Music is fun too🍻
Authentic food from region and interesting atmosphere - locals seem to love it
